We have opening for Financial Analyst in our Chevy Chase, MD office.

JOB DUTIES:

● Proactively monitor operations trends; develop, propose and implement project-based initiatives to elevate performance and manage risk, specifically:

● Collections / Delinquency strategies

● Operating Expenses

● Capital Expenditures

● Resident Satisfaction

● Work with property management team to develop annual budgets at the portfoliolevel and track variances

● Analyze operating performance compared to budget and underwriting

● Work with accounting and property management teams to present appropriatereporting to lenders and equity investors

● Perform market research regularly and identify opportunities that align withRiparian’s investment strategy

● Support Riparian’s internal property management team as well as third-partyproperty managers as needed

● Develop materials for investment committee presentations on actionable deals, aswell as broader pipeline tracking

● Work with lenders and mortgage brokers to negotiate and close debt financing

● Develop both market-level investment thesis and property-level business plans,supported by rigorous demographic and operating data

● Work with senior management to originate, underwrite and close portfolios ofmultifamily or single-family rental homes in Riparian’s target markets

● Assist senior management in developing and fostering a transparent, collaborative,and data-driven culture of accountability and high performance company-wide

● Develop and manage new broker relationships, reach out to portfolio owners andselectively attend conferences to represent Riparian Capital Partners and seek off-market acquisition opportunities

● Support senior management’s efforts to raise additional capital from institutionaland high net worth investors to continue to scale the Riparian platform, includingdeveloping investor presentation materials, attending meetings with potentialinvestors and coordinating Riparian’s response to investor due diligence requests

Special Requirements:

Position requires Master’s degree in Finance or a related field plus at least two years of work experience as a financial analyst or on a similar position. Good communication skills and attention to details.
